Wow, this is really fascinating! The ways in which the colors come together and blend into one another, and are separated in other places, creates a really interesting texture, and the presence of the whole spectrum gives it a magical look. The eye really draws me in, too.
Okay... Now this one... When I first saw this, It took my breath away, I want this piece signed, framed and put on my wolf wall. Seriously, we have a wolf wall... more like a corner... but Wolf stuff goes there. And I want this one. You broke out into something incredible here. I love the way you started working with this medium. It is so reminisce of my Idol's work, that at first, I thought you were either re-posting one of his, or inspired by him to do this. Simply amazing. I think, however, that you really liked the concept and had fun experimenting, but you weren't really into this as much as the later pieces you did like it. Since you labelled it "practice" it tells me that you aren't as proud of this one. But would you do me the favor, and make it available as a print? Or can I maybe swindle you out of the original?
Man, I still love this one very much. And I think I've seen the wolf-wall before, I'm not sure. but the only reason it was labeled as "practice" is because it was my second ever watercolor painting, so I truly was only practicing but turned out with a piece that I fell in love with. I was quite mad to receive only a B+ on this in art class and remember kicking my locker because I was so proud of it and felt that my teacher cheated me out on the mark just 'cos she doesn't like my wolf work. Would you really like it available as a print though??? And trust me, I would like to have this picture in my own hands, but I ended up making the horrible mistake of giving it away to a friend as a gift, who really isn't all that close to me anymore. I'd like to ask her for it back sometime though. I feel some sort of emotional attachment to this painting, and many people (mostly family and friends) have asked me for the original. Which makes me think: i should do more paintings like this!!!
A> Idk if I wanna make it available as a print cos it would probably just be cheaper for me to email you the file and have you take it to a printer like staples or something B> No shit eh? I'll text her tomorrow and see if I can wager it back before resorting to violence C> Will do.
just make sure you ransack her place and beat her up real good, take her jewelry, her wallet, and if there are any cookies and milk in the place, eat a few, and leave spilt milk and crumbs everywhere. Make sure to leave a handful of raindeer poop on the roof... The cops won't be able to figure out what the hell happened.
oooh! pulling the MOM card... Trumps everything! You could just say that you need it back to re-scan it... for a submission to some gallery or something... then just conveniently neglect to get back to her...
